Following an exceptional Ecobuild 2012, which attracted 1,500 exhibitors and over 57,000 visitors, CAB is delighted to announce that it has agreed to exhibit at Ecobuild 2013, taking a 33m2 – stand N432. The show is the world’s leading built environment and sustainability exhibition and is planned to grow in size yet further by making available a further 10% floor space. Around 40 of all CAB’s members visited their stand this year.
Justin Ratcliffe, CAB Chief Executive said, ‘The profile of aluminium in building within the show has grown rapidly in recent years and CAB has been a catalyst for this growth – we now see it as a must exhibit show for the Trade Association and this is also the view of members. Apart from being able to bring the supply chain up to date on the latest aluminium and sustainability data, we also have the opportunity to spend time discussing members’ issues on a one to one basis. Booking early for next year highlights our commitment and we accept that as the recognised ‘voice of aluminium in building in the UK’ there is also an expectation that we will be there.‘
CAB’s stand this year highlighted some of the very latest international statistics on worldwide recycling and environmental data which produced a positive response from architects, specifiers and members. CAB was delighted with the high quality of the visitors that the show attracted and also noted a more senior level of attendee as there were noticeably more decision makers.
Over the past few years CAB has built an excellent relationship with the show’s organisers and will continue to promote the show throughout the coming year.
