Awards
The 'UK Aluminium in Renovation Awards 2007' will be led in the UK by the Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB), with Aluminium Federation (Alfed) involvement, in support of the overall European Aluminium Association (EAA) European Award. The awards will also cover re-construction, for example, changing the function of an existing building.
Awards Dinner
The UK Award will be announced at an Awards Dinner to take place on Thursday 22nd March 2007 at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham. There will be both domestic and commercial awards categories plus special awards for 'cladding/roofing' and 'doors, windows and curtain walls'.Judging Criteria
All buildings entered must be completed since 1st January 2005 and the selection criteria includes:- Significant use of aluminium
- Contemporary design
- Life Cycle thinking
- Energy efficiency
- Socio Economic impact
- Added value to the original building

Entry Deadline
